No matter how bumpy the ride is, your items are safe with bubble wrap!

If you are concerned about the safety of your goods during transportation, bubble wrap can help you. This is a plastic wrap which consists of small air filled bubbles, spaced at regular intervals. The complete structure looks like a plastic bag with several rows and columns of bubbles. Bubble wrap is a special kind of wrapper that provides ultra care to fragile items.

How it Works

These bubbles provide the package the cushion that is required to protect it from incident shocks and scratches. When the package falls to the ground or strikes a solid surface, the equally spaced bubbles inflate, thus absorbing up the shock. Consequently, items placed inside stay secure.

Simple to Use

Bubble wrap is easy to use. Unlike other wraps that require heat to complete the wrapping process, bubble wrap just needs to wrap around the item(s). Make sure that you have wrapped it firmly, so that the items don’t move. If there are multiple fragile items inside, they may smash with each other and break. Double check to confirm that you have securely placed the items inside the wrap.

Bubble Wrap Comes in Different Sizes

There is a huge variety available to meet a wide range of needs. Bubble wraps are available in different sizes. The most important factor is its width. You should carefully analyze your need before buying a bubble wrap. You will need to select the wrap depending upon the item you need to wrap. Short width bubble wraps are preferable for small items while large width wraps are good for large items.

Following width sizes are available:

    •    300mm
    •    400mm
    •    500mm
    •    600mm
    •    750mm
    •    900mm
    •    1 meter
    •    1.2 meters
    •    1.5 meters

Bubble Size and Placement

Bubble wraps come with different bubble sizes as well. The size of bubbles is proportional to the shock absorption power of the wrap. Since heavier items experience more shock due to their weight, it is advisable to use large bubble wraps for them. However, this will increase the weight of the wrap as well as its cost. Two sizes are available in our stock:

• Small
• Large

You will observe that the placement of bubbles is also different for different bubble wraps. In some instances, bubbles are closely placed while in others, they are placed at quite a distance from one another. You can select bubble spacing from quarter of an inch to an inch. As a rule of thumb, the closer the bubbles are, the better it is. Closely aligned bubbles ensure better protection and absorb more powerful shocks.

Special Purpose Bubble Wraps

Bubble wraps are also designed for special needs. The most famous are the anti-static ones. These are designed with a material that is capable of repelling any incident static charge. This is essential for electronic equipment that can be destroyed on the pickup of static charge. While goods are transported over the sea, electromagnetic waves from radio sources nearby can induce static charge on packages. Anti-static bubble wraps ensure the charge doesn’t enter the package. Green bubble wraps are also available that are eco-friendly.

These bubble wraps are biodegradable and are easy to get rid of.
